[This is from Mrs Austin writing to ??? about her husband, date
unknown but probably mid-19th century, was with the Ann Nall letters.]

Dear Sir

I am now a going to ask you a favour that is to answer this letter  I
Rote to Mr Vernon in Last November and very much wished him to send me
a answer but I have not had any and that was to know where Mr Austin
is now  Dear Sir I have waited so Long and have not herd any thing
Pray do not make me morne no longer to know where my Dear
husband is so Let me know if you know and if you do not Let me here
from you and tell me when you saw him Last and how he was I hope the
Lord will help him and comfort his Lord and Bring him home

now I have got something that I very much wish to tell him and if you
know where he his Let him see this Letter and and Rite to me himself,
and Let me see his Dear hand writeing once more which will give me the
greatest Pleasure on earth when he Last Rote to me he said Mr Vernon
had got the Land and he was in Riders Lodge But how many sleepless
Nights have I had since I had that Letter but I hope I shall soon see
or here from him and tell him all I know  I hope if you can you will
Let me here from him or you in a very short time I hope the Lord will
bring him safe to England againe

as I must find out where he his if god spares my Life I shall wate in
untill June in hopes to here from you and if not I must find out from
Maddison only that I do not wish to do but I have something to Let him
know and I have madeup my mind if god spares my Life he shall know
it all thou we are many Miles apart in Body my hart is his and I
Cannot Rest any Longer untill I Let him know what he ought to know now
Dear Mr Gooodwin do write and tell me where he his and the will Remind

Rite to any one but you and
your family I hope you will not thing it to much truble I hope you
will not forget me if you know my fealings you were would not never
forget to answer this Letter I Pray the Lord to give him strenth and
health and not Let his [word???] tread him down  Poor
fellow I Pray for him day and Night may the Lord forgive all his sins
and make him happy for I know his great troble has worn him domn

body that has been a freind to him Dear Sir may the Lord bless you and
all your family I hope Mrs and Mr Morten are well and all there
Children my kind Love to them and if Robert Cook is about there I hope
he is well
